Sottobosco

Sottobosco is a visual arts platform, a network of connection, sharing and archiving for emerging artists.
Basing on the network and the artists’ archive, Sottobosco develops different projects which go from the elaboration of sperimental formats to inform emerging artists, such as Knowhow, to the planning of exhibitions. It also focuses on projecting discussion’s meetings among emergent artists and those already famous, such as Showdesk and on the editing of independent editorial project; from moments of thinking and discovery to those of pure conviviality.
Sottobosco is an hosting/guesting idea. An experimental project opened to collaborations and centred on a collective and co-authorial experience.
It’s not a no-profit cultural association, not an institutional space, anything like this.
It’s the will of some people to work together with a certain taste and without any economic profits, sharing their own abilities to develop projects about visual arts.
