The CRAC Contemporary Art Research Centre is active since 2003 and it islocated inside the high school “Bruno Munari” in Cremona. It is configuredas a project that attempts to combine teaching with practice and pay theresearch of the visual arts.The Centre is a reference point for the organization of moments of meeting/ training for young students and teachers who collaborate with artists,curators and cultural workers contemporary art experts, to create momentsof joint study, comparison and dialogue.The CRAC has an exhibition space, it organizes training courses It is supported by an educational section that offers the opportunity toparticipate in laboratory activities on specific topics.The educational programs, offered to the students in the form ofworkshops, are special themed routes that come together with specificterritorial entities, schools, organizations and institutions, involvingartists and curators. They have an interdisciplinary character and theyare characterized by strong elements of educational innovation, both incontent and methodologies.The Centre is equipped with a library and an archive is available.Since 2007 the Centre became a non-profit association.
