Limno

Limno is a platform that investigates the themes of nature – and of natures- through meetings, videos, and by rethinking places. In 2010 it called attention to water by bringing together such apparently unrelated disciplines as biology, philosophy, landscape architecture, and contemporary art in an attempt to demonstrate the similarity and organic nearness of scientific knowledge and art research. In 2011 the themes of gardens, landscape, and nature were studied in a series of meetings in a private apartment. The choice of acting in spaces whose function can be overturned is central to Limno: through minimal interventions, at times simply a change of view, it attemps to adapt the primary deposits and uses of places to new ends.
