Main goals of the Foundation include presenting and mediating contemporary art as well as developing theoretical reflection on visual art, curating and exhibiting. No Local Foundation’s name stresses that we do not realize our projects in a space defined only by one specific address and emphasizes its attempts to create discursive international platform for contemporary art. The form of our activities is a challenge as it requires constant redefinition of roles of curator, artist and spectator.
No Local Foundation is engaged in educational and socially minded actions. In its projects No Local Foundation undertake notions of participation and site-specificity.
